Our Principal

Gina Hass was drawn to Cherokee Heights because of the close sense of community, dedicated staff and most of all, the remarkable students. She believes that each child who comes to us is unique with their own skills, abilities and talents. She encourages students to utilize their gifts to connect and strengthen their learning. Together, families, students and staff need to work together to create the best outcome for each student, both academically and socially. Ms. Hass looks forward to partnering to provide our children with a premier educational experience!

Ms. Hass has served Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) since 2000 as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, administrator, and most recently, as assistant principal for St. Anthony Park School.

Ms. Hass has excellent academic qualifications with a Bachelor and Master of Science in Early Childhood Education from UW-Stout, an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Hamline University. Additional licensures include Parent Education and Principal licensure.
