Hello!
My name is Mattie DeHaven. The students call me Ms. Mattie. I am a speech-language pathologist (AKA speech therapist). My job is to support the communication of our students so that they can share their wonderful thoughts and ideas! This includes working on speech sounds, developing language, learning strategies to be a confident communicator, and so much more.
Outside of school, I love to hike with my dog, Margo, sing, and paint. I am so grateful to be a part of the community at Cherokee Heights Elementary! The closeness and collaboration of staff, families, and students is amazing to see.
