Ms. Lea Cunningham

Hello!  My name is Lea Cunningham. The children call me Ms. C or Ms. Lea.  I am the WINN Reading teacher here at Cherokee Heights.  My role is to teach reading in grades K-3 in cooperation with the regular classroom teachers.  We share the responsibility of teaching reading to assure that most students get a reading lesson every day.  I love teaching at Cherokee Heights because there is a wonderful sense of community here.  It feels like a family. 

Outside of school, I spend a lot of time walking with my dog, Gimli.
